"The identity of the Alvah H. Chapman Jr. Graduate School of Business merges a
strong link to the Americas with the image and actuality of a modern facility."
-H.G. ESCHE, ARCH20
The overall placement of the two buildings in the form of opposing “L” shapes in plan transformed the 97k SF into a courtyard campus environment with exterior walkways and breezeways surrounding water features and planted spaces. Public and admin program are situated along the street front that symbolically opens up at the main lobby, while classrooms and study rooms tuck back, and behind. As Designer, I was responsible for all 3D studies, client presentation material, and CAD elevations from Schematic through Design Development.
